Family Prayer Need

One of the families in our assembly  seriously needs
prayer.  Their oldest son, Andrew who is 8-years-old
was diagnosed a few months ago with leukemia!
He has been undergoing chemo and this month
he hasn't been doing well physically. He's had a
high fever and for almost two weeks no white
blood counts at all to fight it!  His appetite has been
very lowly.  Yesterday he ate well, but not so much
today. His fever is still high, thank God some white
counts are popping up. Only a few, but they're there!
They need several hundred though so he can go
home for a few days to recuperate before starting
next chemo.  The doctors are very kind and trying to do
all they can to help this little boy. Please pray for Andrew Shah and
his family!

His parents, Sheel and Becky have an amazing story.
When they were engaged, Becky was diagnosed with
stage 4 cancer, and not expected to live. Sheel decided
to still love her and still marry her! They weren't
supposed to be able to conceive either! And now they
have 6 beautiful children.

Late Posting

I have quite a few posts to do, so here's one.
Happy belated 2nd anniversary to Jeremy and Leona!
I don't have any recent really nice pictures of them
together right now, but I will post a few from their
wedding day of Leona, the bride preparing.

She got her hair done at a salon.

He Made It!!!

His real one was Friday but through God's hand and
lots of love from his Daddy and Mommy,  we
celebrated George's very 1st birthday! It's a miracle!
When Leona was carrying George, they were informed
of so many major health problems he was most likely going
to have, and that he'd probably die in utero. And that he
wouldn't last long if he even did make it to birth.
Some of the doctors tried to encourage Jeremy and Leona,
others did not.  Some even suggested to them that they should
do away with George before he was even born. They said,"No".

After he was born, he spent the first month of his life in the hospital,
and sometimes with all his tests and heart problems we thought
he might never come home. But he did! And earlier this year, the
doctors easily fixed his small cleft lip.

Saturday was a gorgeous day. It was sunny and cool. George's
party theme was jungle/safari. It was a simple, cute, quiet,
relaxing party.
