Happy belated

It's 11 days late, but happy 20th birthday to my sister!

I can't believe you're past the teen years now. I can't believe
we're at this point in life. Over the years we've shared, talked,
prayed, done housework together, made plans and secerets
(Christmas, anniversary, birthdays) together, played, cooked,
and so many other  things.

I'm glad to see your desire to serve God and your efforts to bless
others.  Words can't put years on paper.

I love you, Annah!!! Happy birthday!

"I will meditate on the glorious splendor of Your majesty,
and on Your wondrous works."
Psalm 145:5

Give Thanks

It's a week and a few days late, but I wanted to express some things I'm thankful for.
I'm sorry that this year I don't have pictures of our Thanksgiving celebration,
but we and our guests were tired, and everyone wanted to relax.

Things that I'm thankful for:

-God, Creator of all things

-Jesus Christ and His courageous act of love

-God's Word in our own language

-National freedom and liberty

-My Dad

-My Mom

-My sister, Annah

-My dog, Chloe

-Our home and all that is in it

-My relatives and dear friends

-My health

-Our cars

-Our phones

-Color

-Decent, abundant food to eat

-Decent, abundant clothes to wear

I could go on and on!

"Through the Lord's mercies
we are not consumed, because His
compassions fail not."

Lack of Posting

I have a couple posts to do that were for last week, but last week
we were very busy and tired by the time the weekend came.
And also Annah and I are sick right now. I'll try to do those
posts, but it might be later this week. I'm sorry they'll be
a week late.

Oh, I finally saw the neurologist for the scarred tissue in my
brain. He says not worry much about it but he wants me to
have an MRA tomorrow to check the blood vessels, and if
everything's okay from that, get another MRI in 6 months
(I had an MRI back in May).

To Our Little Friend

Happy birthday, Chloe! Love you very much. So grateful God gave you
to us for our dog.  You're a cute extra spark in our lives.

"All creatures of our God and King,
Lift up your voice and with us sing
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Thou burning sun with golden beam,
Thou silver moon with softer gleam!
O praise Him, O praise Him!
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!"

Back to Cakes

This is the most recent cake we've done. It was for a
friend's baby shower. Annah did most of the decorating.

Oh, yes and some petit fours we did for another baby shower.

Trusting You

Here I am before You, Lord,
Falling at Your feet,
My longing is to know You more
Your purpose to complete.
When I look around me,
It's so hard to understand !
I want to see You move, Lord
I want to see Your hand.

Chorus : Trusting You, Lord
Does not come easily to me.
Trusting You, Lord
I need Your eyes that I may see;
When the way is dark and I am afraid
And don't know what to do,
Help me take my eyes off me, Lord
And keep my eyes on You!

I stand upon Your promise, Lord
You have a plan for me;
And though I may not see it yet,
I'll trust faithfully.
You have spoken to my heart
A message strong and true;
So I'll gather up my courage, Lord
And humbly follow You!

Here I am before You, Lord
Falling at Your feet,
My longing is to know You more
Your purpose to complete;
When I look around me
It's so hard to understand!
I want to see You move, Lord
I want to see Your hand!

Chorus: Trusting You, Lord,
Does not come easily to me.
Trusting You, Lord
I need Your eyes that I may see;
When the way is dark and  I am afraid
And don't know what to do,
Help me take my eyes off me, Lord
And keep my eyes on You!

Help me take my eyes off me, Lord
And keep my eyes on

YOU!!!!!!!!!!!"

I have one more thing to say. Would anyone
be able to guess what chapter I read in
my Bible devotions today? How far I am?
