Small Update

Well, Mom and I have had cold/sinus problems since Friday. But today we
have a couple errands to do, one that NEEDS to be done. We're looking
for invitations for Leona's baby shower which isn't that far away.

Last week, Dad, Annah, and I did shopping errands the day we got alot of
that snow. It started when we left Aldi's, was pouring hard when we left
WalMart, but it settled down some when we got home. Then we told Mom
we were going to Sam's Club too. What? In this weather? The roads weren't
bad. Everybody took it slow, so that helped. Sam's was so quiet with only
so many customers (very unusual), so after gathering our items, Dad took
his time and we browsed around. The Lord protected us the whole way and we
got home safely without any problems.

We still have lovely snow, and are having another lovley snow fall this morning.
The Lord's blessed us with so much more snow than last year! I'm thankful for
that. When it's winter, I like it to look and feel like it.

Valentine Crafts

I wanted to do some sort of special craft for Valentine's Day, and even looked
for ideas on the internet. The Lord guided me, and gave me some ideas:
homemade cards! I have nothing against store-bought cards, I like them,
but I wanted to do something nice for what I was giving out.

Of Birthdays and Showers

Friday night was Daniel Wilkerson's 16th birthday and we made him
a chocolate chip cookie cake. Hard to believe he's that old already!

Saturday was a shower for a young new mother who just had her
first baby. The shower was planned for a couple weeks ago, but
the baby came first! We did the cake for the shower too.

This picture was taken last year.

Helping Out

Lately, our cousin Leona's been having contractions often, and
she wants George to know us enough in case she needs us to watch him
when she has the baby. Her due date's a couple months away. Today
Mom and Annah are going over to help.

On Tuesday, Mom and I went over there. Most of the time I played
with George. I got to feed him too! He gets a little stubborn sometimes
when eating. After Mom helped give him a bath, we played some more.
It was fun and quiet around the house.

Later Aunt Jean came home, but was exhausted also like Leona. So
Mom made dinner for them while all of them rested. Mom made breaded
pork chops! I love Mom's breaded pork chops. They are super good.

After fixing dinner, we were getting ready to leave when Leona came back
out with George, so we stayed for a while longer.

Barkley was very playful.
Sitting on my lap like the old days when we were both younger.

I think he looks cute and very boyish playing while his hair is all scruffy.
More playtime

Food?! I smell food in the kitchen!
Mmmmm. Looks delicious!
Any for me?
