Spring Beauty

These are the beautiful hyacinths we planted. And a picture taken
last year of a little bud. Spring is definitely the time for beauty,
when nature comes alive with vibrant colors. Yes, the allergies are there,
but who doesn't smile or feel cheerful when they see beautiful flowers
blooming? And there's so many different kinds all over the world.
You know, God likes pretty things too. And He likes to share it with us.
In stories, when someone is trying to cheer up a woman, what's the first
thing they give her as a token of admiration, kindness, of repentance?
Flowers!

Yep, It's Here Alright

You know spring has come when you have sneezing,
runny noses, watery eyes, and scratchy throats
(allergies) whether you're inside the house or outside.

" He Giveth More Grace "

Greetings everyone,
I wanted to share a song with you out of our red book , " Hymns of truth and Praise "

The song, " He giveth more Grace ". By Annie Johnson Flint. pg 608

1. He giveth more grace when the burdens grow greater;
He sendeth more strength when the labors increase,
To added affliction He addeth His mercy,
To multiplied trials, His multiplied peace.

Refrain:
His love has no limit, His grace has no measure,
  His power has no boundaries know unto men;
For out of His infinite riches in Jesus,
He giveth and giveth and giveth again!

2.  When we have exhausted our store of endurance,
When our strength has failed ere the day is half done,
When we reach the end of our hoarded resources,
Our Father's full giving is only begun.

Refrain:
His love has no limit .............................

Written by Annie Johnson Flint:  Lost her parents at 5 years old, Adopted by the Flints at
seven years old, received Christ at 8 years old - Taught school for three years until severe
arthritis made it impossible! after 2 more years she was unable to walk.
She wrote with twisted hands and body.  She left everything with The Lord.
After 50 years of suffering she went on to be with Jesus.
She became a household name in Christian homes with her poems, and hymns
before she went to be with Jesus..

Where is our trials? Where is our peace? If you don't know Jesus and just know about
Him, you are missing the best ever part of your life.

We thank everyone for your prayers for us, as we are going into another
chapter in our lives with my heart condition. We can still smile with each other,
The Lord Jesus has given us peace!  My heart was sad for a bit, until my
eyes got off of the" wind and the waves"and back on Jesus.
" We may not know what the future holds, but we serve the one who
holds the future! "

If you have a copy of " Our Daily Bread " read it for today! April 16th 2013

May The Lords peace touch each and everyone!   Amen!            Jerry

My-Our New Little Cousin

Wednesday morning, Jeremy and Leona's little girl, George's
little sister was born! She's a pretty little thing. We were
happy to get to meet  and hold her on her birthdate.

On a side note, right now Aunt Jean, Jeremy, and George
are suffering with high respitory virus, which isn't safe
for the babies. And Leona is miserable, hasn't gotten
enough sleep and the medicine is making her feel
nauseated. Please pray for them!

The past few days Annah and I have taken turns
helping Aunt Jean at home with George.

Here's pictures of the happy day.

Easter Sunday Celebration

Sorry it's been a while, but we've been in the midst of computer
changes.

Anyway, Easter Sunday was a bright, sunny morning, with flowers
in bloom, just perfect for celebrating a risen, living Savior. The
outdoors seemed to be alive with singing from the nature blooming.
It was exciting to join believers at church, dressed up, some in
bright colors, all coming together to remember Jesus.

Later in the afternoon, we had Aunt Jean, Jeremy & Leona with
George, and Jennifer with Nora and Adalynn come over to eat.
Nora was very sociable.
