Greetings everyone,
I wanted to share a song with you out of our red book , " Hymns of truth and Praise "
The song, " He giveth more Grace ". By Annie Johnson Flint. pg 608
1. He giveth more grace when the burdens grow greater;
He sendeth more strength when the labors increase,
To added affliction He addeth His mercy,
To multiplied trials, His multiplied peace.
Refrain:
His love has no limit, His grace has no measure,
His power has no boundaries know unto men;
For out of His infinite riches in Jesus,
He giveth and giveth and giveth again!
2. When we have exhausted our store of endurance,
When our strength has failed ere the day is half done,
When we reach the end of our hoarded resources,
Our Father's full giving is only begun.
Refrain:
His love has no limit .............................
Written by Annie Johnson Flint: Lost her parents at 5 years old, Adopted by the Flints at
seven years old, received Christ at 8 years old - Taught school for three years until severe
arthritis made it impossible! after 2 more years she was unable to walk.
She wrote with twisted hands and body. She left everything with The Lord.
After 50 years of suffering she went on to be with Jesus.
She became a household name in Christian homes with her poems, and hymns
before she went to be with Jesus..
Where is our trials? Where is our peace? If you don't know Jesus and just know about
Him, you are missing the best ever part of your life.
We thank everyone for your prayers for us, as we are going into another
chapter in our lives with my heart condition. We can still smile with each other,
The Lord Jesus has given us peace! My heart was sad for a bit, until my
eyes got off of the" wind and the waves"and back on Jesus.
" We may not know what the future holds, but we serve the one who
holds the future! "
If you have a copy of " Our Daily Bread " read it for today! April 16th 2013
May The Lords peace touch each and everyone! Amen! Jerry
We are keeping you all in our prayers!
