Anniversary Post 2#

I said in October that I was going to finish the post of
Dad and Mom's renewal of vows, so I'm going to! The
stylist who came to our house was a friend, and she did it
for free, though I was disappointed that my hair had a crimp
instead of a curl. Here's more pictures.

Sarah Wilson and her mom, Sharon Wilkerson
Mr. Henry Durst
Abby, Megan, & Caroline Coates
Jeremy & Leona
It was like a wedding, so Donald walked Aunt Jean down.

Daniel Wilkerson and me
Tom Wilkerson & Dad
James Wilkerson & Annah
Samantha, Thomas, & Rachel
Samantha has the cloth on her arm because before this, she'd broken her arm.

If you read Dad's book, Thoughts from Him, you'll get an idea of some of the things spoken.
Mom, beautiful "bride"

It was an emotional time too!

I couldn't help crying!

We surprised Mom and Dad with the playing of one of their wedding songs, "There is Love".
They weren't expecting it, so here Dad is trying to figure out which song it was.

I love this picture of Annah!
I was still a little emotional.
Jeremy

Bud Williams, a good friend!

Mrs. Barbara Bandy made the beautiful cake!
Donald and Samantha

Hunt Family: Collyn, Becky, Carolyn, Elisa, & Paul
After that, we went to Stefanina's  with Aunt Jean, Jeremy, & Leona.
Having a wonderful night, but so tired!

  1. How beautiful you parents are. You look very much like your mother. I remember reading that your mother is wearing her original wedding dress--this is so wunderful. Do you and Annah hope to wear this dress one day? Speaking of dresses, did you girls make your pink and purple dresses? I love pink.

My husband and I renewed our wedding vows in 2009 aboard a cruise ship in Alaska. We had the boys and my mom with us and it was wonderfully romantic aboard the ship.

Please let me know if there is anything you would like for me to keep you in prayer over. It would be joy to have you in my prayer book for daily prayer.

    Blessings, Mrs. Mari

    1. Hello! Thank you for the comment! No, Annah and I are planning to each have our own different dress someday, Lord willing. Mom and Annah made hers together, and Mom made mine.
