Back to Cakes

This is the most recent cake we've done. It was for a
friend's baby shower. Annah did most of the decorating.

Oh, yes and some petit fours we did for another baby shower.

  1. What are the petit fours made out of?

  2. Frozen pound cake. You cut it into the shapes you want, then pour on a double glaze, and after it's dry, add icing or whatever decorations you want.

    1. Thanks. Presumably freezing the cake makes it easier to cut? I like the way you've decorated them, they look tasty. :)

  5. I love your petit fours! I've never made them and didn't realize you would/could freeze the cake to make them so perfect in shape! Yours are pretty in the cupcake papers and on the tiered platter! Nice job! :)
