Lack of Posting

I have a couple posts to do that were for last week, but last week
we were very busy and tired by the time the weekend came.
And also Annah and I are sick right now. I'll try to do those
posts, but it might be later this week. I'm sorry they'll be
a week late.

Oh, I finally saw the neurologist for the scarred tissue in my
brain. He says not worry much about it but he wants me to
have an MRA tomorrow to check the blood vessels, and if
everything's okay from that, get another MRI in 6 months
(I had an MRI back in May).

  1. Get well soon Rebecca and Annah. Hope you feel better soon, and that the results of the MRI are ok. Kate

  2. Thanks. So far we don't have fevers today, but we're not completely out of the symptoms yet.

  3. I am encouraged by your blog but don't often comment (sorry!). But what is the purpose of your MRIs? Are you having unexplained symptoms of something? Three MRIs in a year sounds like a huge expense, not to mention how stressful they are. I hope you are well.

  4. I have double vision sometimes and the peripheral vision in my right eye is slightly blurred. It has been confirmed that I have scarred tissue on the left side of my brain and it is effecting the right side of my head. I had a MRA test today to check the blood flow, blood vessels to make sure there's no blockage or anything that could cause problems later.
Scarred tissue does pull away and can get bigger, so my test today was to rule out any such thing.

I'm supposed to have another MRI in six months to see whether there are any changes.

If today's test doesn't show any problems, then I should be fine. Might just be something small to keep an eye on, or might be nothing.
Thank you for your concern, but the Lord has me in His hands, and I'm not really worried about it.

  5. I'm a bit under the weather myself today. I guess there are a lot of bugs going around. I hope you feel better soon. Take care and God bless!

    1. A few little things are still here, but we're feeling much better than we were. You be sure to rest.

  6. Praying that you are all feeling well soon, and that your upcoming tests are good news for you. My husband's cancer is trying hard to win the fight this time around, but he keeps fighting with all he has.

Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers,
    Mrs. Mari
