Thanksgiving

We had a fun, enjoyable Thanksgiving celebration. We were very happy to see
all those who showed up, and we just relished in the food!

Homemade cheesecake again with homemade whipped cream.
Pumpkin crunch and cheesecake
Triple-layer pumpkin spice pie
Annah made some great mashed potatoes. Call me crazy, but I do not like green bean casserole!
Stuffing

Nora made this cute little turkey and gave it to us.

George enjoyed the kitchen floor to roll his balls on.
And Happy Birthday to Leona!

Caroline's first Thanksgiving too.

  1. I make green bean casserole because the family demands it. I'd much rather make my sweet/sour green beans with loads of chopped bacon in it. It's got that sweet tart taste that makes you go hmmmm. Our oven went out the day before Thanksgiving so no baking was possible. It gets fixed next week. I had to do my ham in my new Ninja 3 in 1 cooker (it's got stove top, crockpot and oven settings). Kind of burned my glaze. I've got to get another ham and throw it in the freezer for New Years. I hope your Christmas is happy and your New Year full of love and surprises.

  2. Do you have a link to your homemade cheesecake? I've never had one turn out okay and yours' looks great!
