Life

People, I'm hoping to catch up on posts. I have news.
We've been officially licensed as a foster family,
which means we're opening our home to children!
We're doing that right now, but I'm sorry I can't
share much about it, because for privacy and
safety's sake, we're legally not allowed to share
details or photos on social media. That's what
we're up to right now. We have a little boy with us
right now and we're enjoying him, but that's
about all I can tell you. Just wanted you to know.

  1. Congratulations! That is a wonderful thing to be a foster family.
Love your new layout. It looks so springlike. Hope you don't have too much snow.

  2. Becoming a foster family is a long and arduous process, so congratulations to your family! I hope you will share what you can about your experiences, even if it can't be photos. What a wonderful thing you are doing!

  3. I've known people who have had foster children in their homes. They weren't allowed to say much about the kids, either. I hope the little fellow in your home is settling in well and God will help you and your family give him what he needs during this difficult time in his life. I understand that you probably aren't allowed to say anything about what's happening with Rachel or her brothers, but they are in my prayers also.

  4. Thank you. Rachel is living with someone else now. And yes, they do need continued prayer.
