Happy Birthday, George!

Saturday we celebrated George's 2nd birthday! Not only that, but we celebrated
how wonderfully his health is remarkably improving, especially since his
recent surgery. It was a joyful day of reflecting on God's miracles through
George. This time George enjoyed his party and didn't get overwhelmed
very much.

We didn't make his cake this time. His party was at Dairy Queen where we
had ice cream cake!

"I will enter His gates with thanksgiving in my heart,
I will enter His courts with praise.
I will say,'This is the day that the Lord has made,
I will rejoice for He has made me glad.'

He has made me glad, He has made me glad,
I will rejoice for He has made me glad.
He has made me glad, He has made me glad,
I will rejoice for He has made me glad."

  1. I love little boys with their hair neatly parted. We used to guess how long it would take the little sisters to reach up and grab them. Nice photos!

We don't have Dairy Queen stores like the midwest. Ours are in malls. No hot food. No A&W's either. When I lived in Wisconsin we used to take my grandma to the closest A&W to get her a hot roast beef sandwich with mashed potatos and gravy and a big mug of root beer. MEmories.

    Hope your shoulder is healing.
