4th Annual Little Girls' Tea Party

That's right. It's that time of year again. Last Saturday was our tea party.
It expanded this year so the Throwers were kind to let us the Family Vision
Library's big green room for our event. This year it was a lot of work,
but worth it. The Burneys were so kind to help us with cleanup afterward
when we were so tired and sore-footed. We sure did miss the ladies and
girls who couldn't make it. It was so good to have the Coates ladies again!
They came to our first one in 2010, and haven't been able to come since,
so we were excited to have them again. Our devotional was Being a True Giver.

Handmade namecards for the girls
The flower photos in the little frames were pictures Annah has taken.
Annah made the banner and we put frames our previous tea party group pictures.
We're planning to add a new group picture every year to our collection.

Mom made a luscious punch of rasberry lemonade and white soda.

Annah made this ribbon.

We finally got to meet Elise Noel Wilson, my best friend Sarah's newest baby!

  3. Crystal decorations for the table. We don't all attend the same church, but we're all good friends.

  5. Looks like a fun time. Can you explain the cookie walk for me? Is it a bit like musical chairs and do they get cookies at the end?
    Thanks!

  6. Right. We call out numbers and whichever number that is, that's the set of cookies they get with that number on paper.
But we make sure each family gets some cookies to take home.

  7. So many spring/summer pretty dresses, and what a neat event! Looks like fun! I liked the photo of the punch your mom made -- what is white soda? Is it ginger ale or seltzer or cream soda? Would love the recipe. It looks refreshing!
